Amazing location. Very clean and spacious. Our family could not recommend anywhere better to stay in OOB! Steps away from the beach, pier, lobster rolls, Bill's Pizza...need I say more?
Our stay was great! Clean with beautiful sunrises. Right by the Pier. Well equipped kitchen. Cynthia thought of everything.
We vacationed in the penthouse unit. Great location, great views, decorated very nice! This property is extremely clean. Loved that it had a washer and dryer in the unit, we were able to pack light. Thank you Cynthia for being so helpful.
You honestly could not ask for better! We absolutely are loving our stay here. It is so close to everything. It is so clean, and Cynthia is so nice and just a phone call away to answer any questions. We would highly recommend staying here. We loved having live music outside every night at the restaurant next door. We were in one of the penthouses but would also love to try staying in one of the townhouses in the future. We had a nice shared deck upstairs with a grill and plenty of chairs with a table and umbrella! There is also a firepit in front, with a perfect view if the beach! Such a great place, with the beach just steps from your door, and only about a 1 or 2 minute walk to the pier, just incredible!
I'm used to a pool and balcony but staying here i really i didn't miss them all that much at all!! Third floor penthouse..Our windows faced the beach which is steps away from the front of this quaint little spot. Alittle outdated in decor but it all just adds to its vibe and character. . Very clean and well maintained. The size of the space was perfect for us. I loved it here.. xoxo
Took the family back, 17 years after the last time we visited. This time we rented the two top penthouses. Location- steps from the beach, which makes schlepping beach stuff amazing. Downside to the location is the club music that starts around 10pm and goes until around 2am, so if you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs. You can also hear the live music from the abutting restaurant, which is actually a nice perk...free live music while you eat your own dinner! Perks- CLEAN AS CAN BE. Spotless, really. I am very picky and even bring my own cleaning supplies but I felt so comfortable here. Even the cabinets and dishes...even the closets and under the sinks... everywhere- spotless. The owner and worker come by to leaf blow and sweep the porches/landings of sand, etc. daily. Everything is kept up just beautifully. Washer and dryer are great. Grill/dishes/linens provided- so helpful. Can't beat the location in regards to walkability to not only the beach but to the kitchy fun that OOB's Pier area offers. No need to drive the car after you park. Owner is extremely accessible by phone. Had a glitch with the key code on one door and she was able to remedy quickly. Had a question about where to put trash and had my answer in two seconds. Storage is plentiful- plenty of spots to stash the beach chairs/umbrellas, etc. Cons- shared porches/veranda can make for some awkwardness. Noise level is tough with the abutting businesses. The penthouses should be noted that they are absolutely not for anyone even slightly mobility-impared. The trek up to the third floor is a good workout! Also, some may see this is a con, but I appreciate it- owner is very on top of things. One evening she called me to tell me that she could see we had windows open and scolded me about not having AC on at the same time. I had one of our kids run over to close the windows but came to find out when we returned that in fact the AC was not on...the room was 79 degrees when we got back! Ha. BUT to me, I think this speaks to how well this owner maintains her property. This is why she can charge a decent fee for her rentals. She keeps the place in tip-top shape! Most rental spots at a beach can be fun but...sticky. The Sea Star is not that. It's spacious, spotless, and a great place to make memories (at all stages of life)! I'm glad we went back.

Amazing! The sea star is right on the beach, big interior, beautiful scenery, nice porch that looks out towards the ocean, encludes full kitchen, dinning table, small tv, pull out couch, 2 bedrooms(bedroom 1 with full bed, bedroom two with two twins) 2 bathrooms(full and half). The sea star is close to everything, right next to resturants, and short walking distance from the amusements.
